*It is highly recommended to use an automotive-grade clear coat with additional UV inhibitors to further prolong the life and finish of this hood.

This Type-SS Carbon Fiber Hood is made by Anderson Composites using a 3K 2×2 weave carbon fiber fabric that is infused with marine-grade resin. This wet carbon fiber combined with resin is designed to provide a glossy show-quality finish that is also strong and lightweight. This resin coating also resists UV rays, preventing fading or damage. It also features a removable mesh screen that can be painted to match whatever color you want, plus functional heat extractors! Installation of this hood uses the original OEM hood hardware.

Please Note: Anderson Composites requires the use of heat shields with their hoods. If a customer chooses not to install a proper heat shield capable of withstanding ambient temperatures of up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit, damages to the hood may occur and won’t be covered under Anderson Composites 6-month appearance guarantee.
