This Anderson Composites AC-HD15FDMU-AB-DS Dual Side Carbon Fiber Ram Air Hood has a ram air design that will help pull more cold air into your Mustang’s engine bay, and the heat extractors will help pull heat out, making for a cooler and more efficient engine! This hood is made out of high-quality wet carbon fiber and is a lightweight but strong one-piece design. It features a durable high-gloss finish that shines brilliantly and looks great! A direct OE factory hood replacement, this hood will not require any modifications for installation. Plus, you can re-use your factory hardware and the factory mounting locations, which will make it that much easier to install.
Additional Notes:
– This hood will NOT fit GT350 or GT350R Mustangs.
– This hood does NOT allow for the use of 2016 OE hood turn signals.
– It is highly recommended to use an automotive clear coat with UV inhibitors to prolong the life and finish of the hood.
– Anderson Composites requires the use of heat shields with their hoods. If a customer chooses not to install a proper heat shield capable of withstanding ambient temperatures of up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit, damages to the hood may occur and wont be covered under Anderson Composites 6 month appearance guarantee
